One of the cast members of hit Spanish television series 'Money Heist,' Luka Peroš, has combined preparation for a new role with a passion for FC Barcelona, training with the club's ice hockey team for several days this week.
Born in Croatia, Peroš plays 'Marseille' in the crime drama. Before his acting career took off, however, he was a regular on the rinks. The sport runs in his family, as his grandfather was a professional ice hockey player.
Barça Ice Hockey coach, Marcus Fajardo, had some kind words for his guest player, saying that "He has a good level of talent, despite not having played for so long. It was a pleasure for us to welcome him here and be able to help him."
A big Barça fan
Besides being a hockey aficionado, the actor said that he is "a lover of good football" and that "the best football in the world is at the Camp Nou." He was in attendance for the game between Barça and Valencia earlier this season, enjoying a 5-2 win by Ernesto Valverde's men.
Money Heist: A global hit
Peroš also talked about what it is like to form part of a successful series like Money Heist, remarking that "it's crazy, as I'm still not fully aware of its success on a personal level. I'm very happy to have experienced it and been able to act in the series. Whether it is a hit or not isn't in the actors' hands."
His résumé also includes roles in the film "The Photographer of Mathausen" and the series "Mar de Plástico".
