It was exactly fifteen years ago today that Thierry Henry was presented at Camp Nou before 30,000 fans. The 29-year-old was at the peak of his career, having earned his reputation as one of the greatest strikers of the era wearing the shirts of Arsenal and France.
Henry was at Barça for three years from 2007 to 2010, playing 121 games, scoring 49 goals and giving 27 assists on the way to seven major trophies, including a Champions League and a Club World Cup as part of the famous sextuple of 2008/09.
Fifth biggest ever
Henry’s presentation was the fifth biggest in club history in terms of attendance. Ibrahimovic (60,000) tops the list, followed by Neymar (56,500), Villa (35,000) and Cesc (35,000).
