Pedri receives a shirt signed by the fans

On Sunday the teenage midfielder played his first game in front of the fans at Camp Nou

Normally it is the fans who receive shirts signed by their heroes. However, this time it is the other way around. Pedri was the lucky recipient of a shirt signed by the Culers, the FC Barcelona fans.

The midfielder joined FC Barcelona last summer but it was only last Sunday, against Real Sociedad in La Liga, that the teenager made his first appearance at a Camp Nou with fans present. The Covid-19 pandemic had delayed a moment that the young player was so looking forward to: playing in front of the fans of his new club.

To commemorate the moment, just as we saw in the VLOG of the first league game of the season, several fans present at Camp Nou signed a warm up shirt 526 days after the previous game with supporters at the stadium.

So, on Wednesday at the Ciutat Esportiva following the first team's training session the moment came for Pedri to be presented with the jersey to remember 'an unforgettable experience.'

In the near future, the shirt will be handed over to the FC Barcelona Museum where visitors will be able to see it for a period of a few days.
